GOH LI KIAN

Ms Goh Li Kian graduated with a degree in civil engineering in 2007, and began her career as a planning engineer, working on developing schedules and programmes for numerous major infrastructure projects, including LRT and Airport extension works.

In 2011 Li Kian moved to an assistant planning manager role with MMC-Gamuda for the construction of the SBK and SSP Line underground works for some 7 years. During this period Li Kian developed her skills in delay analysis necessary for the preparation of contractual claims. Having spent a brief period at Gadang E&C managing EOT claims, Li Kian joined CSi’s Forensic Delay & Planning team in 2019 to further her career in dispute resolution.

Li Kian’s recent appointments include retainer services for EOT assessment on several MRT, Highway and High Rise construction projects. She is also assisting delay expert in the preparation of delay expert report for a disputed oil processing plant project and a solar plant construction project. Apart of delay analysis work, Li Kian is also engaged to represent client on CIPAA proceedings in relation to disputed interim and final claims between main contractors and sub-contractors.

Li Kian is a certified Project Management Professional, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and a Member of the Malaysian Society of Adjudicators. She is certified to act as Adjudicator for statutory adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) in Malaysia.

Apart from her regular portfolio of work, Li Kian regularly conduct tutorials and workshops on topics such as project scheduling and forensic delay analysis for construction industry professionals.
