Ts Norhafizah Powzi began her career in 2006. Having initially obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, she was engaged by a leading building contractor in the design, planning, and management of various interior architecture works, including several years working in Dubai, UAE, on the Dubai Marina Mixed Development, Dubai Metro (MRT), and other major projects.

Subsequently, Norhafizah joined MRCB, where she developed a keen interest in construction planning and was tasked with scheduling duties on several major building contracts in KL Sentral. In 2012, she moved to Bina Schedulers, where she worked as a construction planner on a range of infrastructure and building projects, including the KVMRT with MMC-Gamuda.

Norhafizah holds a senior position with our forensic delay team since joining CSi in 2016, where she performs delay analysis and evaluation of EOT claims for both building and infrastructure projects. Her appointment comprises project coordination, forensic investigation of delay causes and delay analysis, preparation of extension of time claims (EOT), dispute resolution, and claims regarding planning issues such as disruption of construction scheduling, demonstration of both excusable and culpable delay, demonstration of critical path, as well as analysis of disruption claims.

Her recent appointment includes several building projects, infrastructure works (SUKE, MRT2, LRT3), commercial, and industrial projects, as well as assisting a delay expert with the preparation of an expert report concerning delay to building and infrastructure projects, in support of a contractor’s defence on liquidated damages for a CIPAA adjudication.

Norhafizah is a Professional Technologist certified by the Malaysia Board of Technologists. She is also a Certified BIM Modeller (Structure), a Certified Planning Engineer, a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators, and a Member of the Society of Construction Law Malaysia.
